When you create or update an Isshinryu.com membership, we may collect your name, email address, postal code, phone number, address, current rank, dojo name, instructor name, stated interests, profile notes, and your choice about receiving Isshinryu updates and promotional messages. We also maintain information needed to operate your account, including authenticated sessions and reference activity such as saved kata and recently viewed kata references.
How we use information
We use this information to create and secure your account, provide member-only reference resources, maintain your profile and saved references, respond to account requests, operate and improve Isshinryu.com, and send communications you have elected to receive.
Passwords and account security
Passwords are used to authenticate your account and should be kept confidential. Isshinryu.com uses authenticated server sessions to control access to protected member resources.
Sharing
We do not sell member personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used to host, secure, maintain, or deliver the website and its communications, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the site and its users.

You can update available profile information from your member profile. Promotional communications are optional. You may contact Isshinryu.com to request assistance with your account or personal information.

Children
Isshinryu.com is a karate education resource and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information should contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
